A Call to Real Action: Build, Clean, and Strengthen Our Communities
Fellow members and supporters of The New Way,
In a world full of endless complaints, empty promises, and performative activism, we choose a different path. We believe in positive, visible, and practical action that improves our neighborhoods, protects God’s green earth, supports our people, and brings us together in real fellowship. That’s why we are calling on every able-bodied man, woman, and family to participate in The New Way Week of Action every single month.
This is not another protest with signs and shouting. This is hands-on work that leaves a lasting mark.
What The New Way Week of Action Looks Like
Every month, participants across the country will:
- Clean up local parks, trails, riversides, and natural areas—Remove garbage, plastic waste, and debris that desecrate our shared spaces. Turn neglected areas into places of pride again.
- Support the homeless and downtrodden members of our community—Organize food distributions, deliver essential supplies, or coordinate aid for those struggling in our midst. Real help, given with dignity and purpose.
- Foster genuine community and recreation—Gather afterward for picnics, games, sports, or simple socializing with friends, family, and comrades. Strengthen the bonds that matter.
No drama. No division. Just honest labor, tangible results, and the satisfaction of seeing your effort make a difference.
Why This Matters–The New Way Philosophy
We refuse to sit idle while our parks fill with trash, our streets see needless suffering, and our people grow disconnected. True activism isn’t about tearing down—it’s about building up. By cleaning our environment, we show respect for the land we call home. By helping those in genuine need within our communities, we demonstrate strength through compassion and responsibility. By coming together in recreation and fellowship, we rebuild the social fabric that makes strong, healthy communities possible.
This is The New Way in action: practical, productive, and focused on our own people first.
How to Participate–It’s Simple and Impactful
- Choose your location—Pick a local park, trailhead, beach, river access point, or neighborhood green space. Even a small lot or playground works if that’s what’s needed nearby.
- Assemble your team—Bring family, friends, or connect with other New Way supporters. Small groups of 3–10 people can accomplish a tremendous amount in just a few hours.
- Gather basic supplies—Trash bags, work gloves, grabbers or litter pickers, water, snacks, and closed-toe shoes. Some participants also bring buckets, rakes, or simple tools for bigger cleanups.
- Document and share the impact—Take clear before-and-after photos and short videos. Show the transformation. These images inspire others and demonstrate the power of organized, positive effort.
- End the day right—Transition into recreation: a group picnic, frisbee, soccer, hiking, or relaxed conversation. Turn the day of work into a day of community.
Safety first: Stay aware of your surroundings, work during daylight hours, follow local park guidelines, and look out for one another.
Every Month—Get Active
The mission is clear. Don’t wait for governments, corporations, or outsiders to fix what’s broken in our neighborhoods. We are the ones who live here. We are the ones who care most. Step up.
- Get outside.
- Do the work.
- Clean a park.
- Feed a neighbor in need.
- Laugh and bond with your community.
That is The New Way.
We’ll see you in your community every month. Together, we build a better future—one bag of trash, one helping hand, and one strong community at a time.
For Christ. For Future. For The New Way.

Operation Wayside

Imagine:
- A rugged cedar cross standing sentinel on a Rocky Mountain ridgeline at dawn.
- A weathered oak cross beside a quiet Appalachian trail.
- A simple white cross overlooking the Pacific from a coastal bluff.
- A bold cross carved into a flat stone face or carefully built from balanced rocks on a desert overlook.
- Or a small, beautiful shrine of stacked stones and wood nestled beside a mountain stream or forest clearing.
This is your moment to act.
- Create one. Build a wooden cross, carve a cross into a stone, stack and arrange rocks into a sturdy cross shape, or assemble a small shrine from local wood and stones. Keep it simple, sturdy, and beautiful — 3 to 6 feet tall (or wide for rock carvings/shrines) works well.
- Place it respectfully. Choose public natural areas (national forests, BLM land, state parks, trails). Follow all regulations and Leave No Trace principles. Note the GPS coordinates.
- Multiply it. Challenge your church, family, friends, scout troop, or community group to create and place more.
